Saturday night I stayed in and watched Julie and Julia.  Everyone knows that that's the movie about a chick who decides to write a blog as she cooks her way through Julia Child's cookbook. By the way - has anyone checked out the real Julie/Julia Project? They obviously cut out lots of language! http://blogs.salon.com/0001399/2002/08/25.html

My Dad said to me "You should write a blog." I laughed. "About what?" I asked. He said you could write about being a teacher. I kind of blew it off but yesterday I was thinking about all the weird and funny things I see at work as a teacher.

A couple of years ago  my friend and I decided these stories would make a great book. No book yet - but I'm writing a blog!

I don't plan on this making me rich and famous or anything but its kind of a release.

Also, I've decided I want to be a more positive person - so I'm documenting the good times!
